Television career

Arijit took the first big step in his career by participating in the reality show Fame Gurukul (2005). Even though he did not win the show, it helped him good exposure. He then won the reality show 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil, which gave him the head start that he needed for his music career.

Singing Career

In 2005, Arijit Singh’s talent caught the attention of audiences nationwide when he participated in the reality show “Fame Gurukul.” Although he didn’t emerge as the winner, placing 6th in the competition, it marked the beginning of his journey into the world of music and fame. It was during this time that he formed a significant connection with renowned music composer Pritam Chakraborty. The year 2010 proved to be a turning point for Arijit as he started collaborating with Pritam on various projects. This partnership led to Arijit being cast in three films composed by Pritam, namely “Golmaal 3,” “Crook,” and “Action Replay.” These opportunities provided Arijit with a platform to showcase his versatile singing abilities and solidify his presence in the industry.
