In the movie, she portrayed the character of Shahida, also known as “Munni,” a Pakistani Muslim girl. Her remarkable performance as a mute girl garnered critical acclaim and earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, making her the youngest person ever to be nominated in that category. She also won the Screen Award for Best Child Artist, in addition to receiving several other awards and nominations. Alongside her film career, Harshaali has also acted in television serials such as “Qubool Hai” (2014) and “Laut Aao Trisha” (2014).
