She marked her entry into the Hindi film industry with the debut film of another newcomer, Ajay Devgn, titled “Phool Aur Kaante” (1991). In this movie, she played the role of Pooja Salgaonkar. Her career continued to soar in 1992 when she starred in the Tamil blockbuster “Roja” alongside Arvind Swamy. The following year, Madhoo secured the lead role in Mani Ratnam’s romantic thriller “Roja,” where she portrayed the character of a village girl. In 1995, she graced several films, including “Diya Aur Toofan” as Aasha, “Hathkadi” as Rani, “Jallaad” as Gayetri, “Ravan Raaj” as Geeta Suzie face, and “Hum Hai Bemisaal” as Marya.
