Sanju Samson’s father is Samson Vishwanath. Sanju Samson is named after his mother, Liggy Vishwanath. His father, a former football player who played in the Santhosh Trophy for Delhi, was previously a Delhi Police police constable. His mother is a domestic worker. Sanju Samson is related to Sally Samson, his elder brother. Saly Samson is an AG’s Office employee and played junior cricket for Kerala. Sanju Samson, 17, made his debut in the Kerala Ranji team against Vidarbha at the age of 17. Samson’s breakout season was during the 2013-14 Ranji Trophy when he truly entered the fray. The Assam region in north-eastern India scored 323 runs in the very first game. He however outdid Assam’s innings by scoring 211 runs. This is a career record and gave Kerala a critical 39-run lead.
