His grandfather won the Padma Shri for Nadaswaram. His father, the Late G. Doss, worked as a Jail Superintendent, and his mom Raji Doss, is a Homemaker. He has one sister, who works as a doctor.

Education

He pursued his early education at the Campion Anglo Indian Hr. Sec. The school is located in Trichy. After completing his schooling, he went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from J. J. College of Engineering and Technology, also situated in Trichy.

Sivakarthikeyan’s journey in the entertainment industry began with his participation in the reality dance show Jodi Number One: Season 3 in 2008. However, it was his victory in the stand-up comedy reality show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru, aired on Star Vijay that brought him into the spotlight. This win catapulted his career and paved the way for his acting debut in the film “Marina” in 2012.

His talent and charm as an anchor earned him the Vikatan Award in 2011 for Best Anchor for his work in Jodi Number One. Sivakarthikeyan subsequently hosted numerous shows, showcasing his versatility as a presenter.
