Swami Vivekananda’s father, Vishwanath Datta, served as an attorney at the Calcutta High Court, while his mother, Bhuvaneshwari, possessed a devout and deeply spiritual nature that profoundly influenced her son. Swami Vivekananda Death
Swami Vivekananda had foretold that he would not live beyond the age of forty. On July 4, 1902, he carried out his usual activities at the Belur Math, imparting lessons on Sanskrit grammar to his students. In the evening, he retired to his room, and, around nine o’clock; he peacefully passed away while engrossed in meditation. It is believed that he attained ‘Mahasamadhi,’ a state of ultimate liberation.
