Vijay Career

At the young age of 10, Vijay took his initial steps in the film industry as a child artist in the movie Vetri (1984), which was directed by his father, S. A. Chandrasekhar. Following this, he made another appearance as a child artist in the film Naan Sigappu Manithan (1985), starring Rajinikanth. This particular film played a significant role in establishing Vijay’s popularity, particularly in the interior regions of Tamil Nadu.

In 1992, Vijay made his debut as a lead actor in the film Naalaya Theerpu. He continued to showcase his acting prowess and gained recognition with his 1996 film Poove Unakkaga. Furthermore, he made a friendly appearance in the 2012 Bollywood film Rowdy Rathore, directed by Prabhu Deva and starring Akshay Kumar.
